Key West Cuban Coffee Rum
To make this rum, the Chef takes dark double-roasted coffee beans and ages them in our rum barrels for three to four weeks. The beans are then used to make a flavorful extract, which is infused into the rum before a very small amount of Demerara cane sugar is added.
This rum is not sweet like so many other coffee liquors, but very rich and robust - just like sipping a dark Cuban-style espresso.
You can enjoy it as an after-dinner espresso, mix it with eggnog, or use it to make White Russians, Mudslides, and Espresso Martinis.
